History:

In the Spring of 1999, the Diversified Greek Council was created at the University of Central Florida to allow for additional national general Greek letter organizations (culturally, academic, socially and community oriented) to be established.


Mission Statement
:

It is the mission of the Diversified Greek Council to promote unity, communication, and cooperation among its member organizations and all Greek Letter organizations and to promote scholastic achievement and assistance to the community


Achievements

The members of DGC strive to be leaders in the UCF community. Our members are involved in various student organizations such as the Hispanic American Student Association, President’s Council for Diversity Initiatives, LEAD Scholars, Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, Future Medical Doctors of America, The Asian Student Association, and members of various Honor and Professional Societies.

            Our members also participate in numerous philanthropies and work with our neighboring communities. These activities include the MS Walk, Beta House, Relay for Life, Hands on Orlando, Gifts for Teaching, Get Carded, Voter Project, Ripple Effect, Late Knights, and Rally for the Cause-Breast Cancer and Domestic Violence Awareness..
